Chrysanthemum (synonym: Dendranthema) is a genus of the family Asteraceae (Asteraceae of Compositae). The name originates from the Greek: ‘chrys-‘ meaning gold and ‘-anthemon’ meaning flower. The chrysanthemum is being used more regularly for general decorative applications because of the good shelf life and diversity of colors and types of plants that are available.
In China the chrysanthemum is a symbol for happiness. Also the chrysanthemum is the national symbol of Japan. The imperial seal is a stylized chrysanthemum, and the country has an order that is named after the flower, the Order of the Chrysanthemum.
Chrysanthemum Multiflora – Chrysanthemum
The chrysanthemum is available in several pot sizes from July till November; 19 cm (most common size) and 26 cm pots. Most plants are produced in 1 color per pot in 19 cm and 26 cm pot.
The chrysanthemum mixed pot is available in pot sizes; 19 cm (most common size) and 26 cm from July till November. We produce mixed pots in trio (3 colors) in 19 cm pot and quinto (5 colors) in 26 cm pot. (Chrysanthemum in photo is a Quinto in a 26 cm pot)
The plants get out of the greenhouse between July and the half of August, and from August on the plants are grown outside.

Chrysanthemum Skyfall
The Skyfall hanging chrysanthemum is produced in 25 cm hanging pot available in a trio of 3 colors per pot. We use a Recovery pot of the brand Epla, which is part of the company Desch Plantpak.
The Recovery pots are made from recycled plastic and contribute to a reduction in CO2 emissions and a circular economy. The Skyfall is available in the Pomelo Olive color pot.

The fuzz-chrysanthemums is available only in Oktober in pot size: 23 cm. These plants are grown in the greenhouse. This plants are produced in 1 color per pot.
